Reward Increased For Information In Animal Abuse Case In Acushnet
Private donations have helped increase the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of a four year old pit bull in Acushnet.
Officials with the Coalition For Animals initially offered a reward of $1,000, but thanks to private donations, the reward has now increased to $2,580.
A passerby found the dog two weeks ago in a plastic bag near the Acushnet River. The annimal had a number of bruises on its face, and appeared to be severely malnourished.
