Massachusetts is under a mini-martial law now as Governor Charlie Baker has imposed restrictions on the movements of Bay State residents. Comrade Baker has determined that residents must be in their bunkers by precisely 10 p.m. beginning tonight unless you are considered essential. Baker's "stay at home advisory" or curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. until further notice.

Activities at retail and liquor stores, adult-use marijuana shops, gyms, casinos, and youth and adult sports must all cease by 9:30 p.m. Restaurants must stop serving before 9:30 p.m. but if you are already eating, you are allowed to finish your meal but must vacate the premises by 10 p.m.

Barker's mandate also requires you to limit visitors to your private home to fewer than 10 people and that they must vacate your property no later than 9:30 p.m.

Also, the little dictator has mandated that everyone wear a mask upon leaving their home regardless of whether there are people within six feet of you or not. The order includes runners, walkers, or folks just heading from the front door to the car. Do it or face a penalty. And don't forget your actions are being monitored by your neighbor, who wouldn't think twice about turning you in on Baker's snitch line.

And remember, Baker says no singing, dancing, or shouting on Thanksgiving.

I defy our local police departments to attempt to enforce these new mandates. I suspect that they have far more important things to do anyway.

Baker has ordered churches, schools and businesses closed in Massachusetts this year resulting in immeasurable personal and financial harm to many residents. Baker is now imposing restrictions on the movements of Massachusetts residents and attempting to dictate what occurs within their homes.

Baker is a power-hungry dictator. It's time for the silent majority to rise up.

Resist the dictator.
