The President says comments from a consultant about American voters shouldn't cast a shadow on his signature healthcare reforms.

While visiting Australia, President Obama also flatly rejected the suggestion that he misled the public about Obamacare. Videos of Jonathan Gruber saying the bill was designed to take advantage of voter "stupidity" surfaced this week.

Obama said the intensity of news coverage during the bill's debate would have made it impossible to hide provisions within the law.
