WARWICK — A bomb threat at T.F. Green Airport forced police to sweep the building on Saturday evening.

WPRI12 is reporting that Warwick Police received a robocall making the threat shortly before 5 p.m.

The threat was deemed to not be credible as it appeared to be a prank phone call, but officers took the situation seriously and swept the airport for cautionary reasons.

Operations of the airport were not interrupted during the sweep as flights continued to come and go. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
