PLYMOUTH (WBSM) — A grand jury has indicted a Plymouth man on a murder charge in connection with the fatal stabbing of his father.

Matthew Paluzzi, 26, was indicted on one count of murder following an investigation by Massachusetts State Police and Plymouth Police into the death of his 73-year-old father, Anthony Paluzzi.

Plymouth Police responded to a 911 call on August 15 reporting an unresponsive man at a Cedar Road home. Upon arrival, officers discovered Anthony Paluzzi covered in blood, with a kitchen knife found near the front door. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, authorities issued a bulletin for Matthew Paluzzi and his vehicle. He was apprehended by police in Hanover with apparent bloodstains on his clothing.
