TAUNTON (WBSM) — A suspect was taken into custody Friday after a person was shot at while driving in their vehicle in Taunton.

According to Taunton Police Chief Edward Walsh, the department received a report at about 8:21 a.m. on May 2 of a person shot at while driving in their vehicle.

He said the preliminary investigation indicated that a driver was shot at by the driver of another vehicle in the area of Fifth Street and West Water Street. Walsh said officers found two bullet holes in the vehicle.
