Patriots Sign Veteran WR Kenny Britt To 2-Year Deal
signing veteran wide out Kenny Britt
18 catches for 233 yards and two scores
The former first round pick of the Tennessee Titans will add a big body to the team's rather small group of receivers that has been plagued by injuries throughout the 2017 campaign.
Britt is a Rutgers product, who played there under Bill Belichick's close friend Greg Schiano. Belichick has a long track record of taking guys who played under Schiano at Rutgers, as Britt becomes the fourth Scarlet Knight to crack the Patriots roster this season.
The 29-year-old will add a big frame and ability to battle cornerbacks one-on-one, when teams play man coverage against the Pats.
The 9-year veteran has played in 113 games, making 327 catches for 5,114 yards and 32 touchdowns.
