This time of year always causes concern among Patriots Nation, as opposing teams that have seen their season end go searching for new coaches and front office personnel.

With the Patriots' success over the years, the team's position coaches and player personnel usually have their fair share of inquiries from teams in need.

While both offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia are taking advantage of those inquiries and planning to meet with teams that have reached out to them, as they have every right to do and truly deserve to do, one member of the New England staff is presumably choosing to stay put.

reports have come out that Caserio has declined an offer to interview for the position.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Caserio has once again turned down a potential opportunity to leave the Pats for a team that may give him more control, in terms of the final decision making process for trades and drafts.

Keeping Caserio would be beneficial for the Pats, as he has done a strong job in his multitude of roles with the team over the years.
