Patriots’ ‘AirKraft’ Jets Fly U.S. Marines to Arctic NATO Exercise
When they are not busy pursuing their next Super Bowl ring, the New England Patriots are being, well, patriotic.
Patriots’ AirKraft Jets and Their Military Role
Patriots owner Bob Kraft owns a pair of Boeing 767 jets known as "AirKraft," which are "leased for military, humanitarian, and charter missions when not used by the team," reports the Aviation Journal Facebook page.
The page says, "U.S. Marines travelled to Norway on 19 January 2026 using a Boeing 767-300ER owned by the New England Patriots." Omni Air International operates the planes.
U.S. Marines Head to Norway for Cold Response 26
Around 3,000 Marines will participate in Exercise Cold Response 26, a large winter NATO training exercise "alongside some 25,000 personnel from twelve allied countries in Arctic conditions."
NAVYCRF.com reports, "Nicknamed 'AirKraft' after the team owner, Robert Kraft, the planes are painted in the Patriots' red, white, and blue, and emblazoned with the franchise's six Lombardi Trophies on their tails inside."

"The cabins have been retrofitted with all first-class seats and features a state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system," the site says.

What Is NATO’s Exercise Cold Response 26?
Armyrecognition.com reports that, "American forces will play a central role in Exercise Cold Response 26, a major NATO winter drill set for March across Northern Norway."
"The exercise tests the Alliance's ability to deploy and sustain combat power in Arctic conditions as NATO expands its footprint into the Nordic region," according to the site.
While the Marines are preparing for war games in the bitter cold, the Patriots are getting ready for the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX in balmy Santa Clara, California.
