Open Again For Biz

The Valero Gas station at Huttleston and Bridge streets, in Fairhaven, had the lowest gasoline price for Regular Unleaded heading into Christmas. The sign still read $1.99/gallon when I pulled up Wednesday evening. That was months after a blue truck veered off Huttleston and into one the Valero pumps.

Now, in the second week on March, the owner is glad to re-open. The first customer: Brian The Cab Driver in his motor home. The price per gallon---$1.75. Considering the Cumbies down street was $1.79/gallon, I accept the discount.
