One Killed In Lakeville Crash

One person was killed following a two car crash in Lakeville Wednesday morning.

Lakeville Police say that at approximately 9:49 a.m. officers responded to Highland Rd. after receiving 911 calls regarding a crash near Bedford St.

Each car had two occupants inside and all were transported to Morton Hospital for various degrees of injuries.

One occupant, identified as 51-year-old Debra Cook-Warren of Mashpee, had to be removed from the vehicle by using the Jaws of Life and was later pronounced dead at Morton Hospital.

The driver of vehicle was identified as 26-year-old Tyashia Warren.

The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 75-year-old Stephen Place of Lakeville with a passenger identified as 70-year-old Carol Place of Lakeville.

The incident is being investigated by Lakeville Police, The Plymouth County Sherriff's Department BCI Unit, and the Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit.
