NSTAR and its four sister subsidiaries, all owned by New England's largest energy delivery company, Northeast Utilities, are slated to get a new name and logo on Monday, Feb. 2.

The brand's new name will be Eversource Energy, a name which "reflects the one-company focus we have been driving for the last few years," according to the company's chairman and CEO Tom May.

"Consolidating our brand was the obvious next step for us as we continually strive to improve energy delivery and customer service to our 3.6 million electricity and natural gas customers across the region," May said.

Customers will receive more information about the company's brand change after Feb. 2. The company's ticker symbol will change to ES on the NYSE beginning Thursday, Feb. 19.
