Business-owners in the Acushnet Avenue Commercial District feel they're being short-changed when it comes to city services.

That was one of the findings in a survey of 69 businesses in the North End carried out by the Public Policy Center at UMass Dartmouth and the Community Economic Development Center.

C-E-D-C will present the information to the Mayor and City Council, hoping to make a case for more financial help for the North End district.

The survey was paid for by the Garfield Foundation.
