New Bedford Police Tow 70 Vehicles During City’s Parking Ban
NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford's parking ban was lifted at 12 a.m. Friday. It went into effect 12 a.m. Thursday.
New Bedford Police say during that 24 hour period, 593 tickets were issued for non-compliance, while 70 vehicles were towed.
Those ticketed face a $50 fine, while motorists who had their vehicles towed must pay for the storage of their vehicle and the tow.
