A New Bedford man is still pushing for the establishment of a museum in Plymouth, honoring four black Revolutionary War soldiers as the nation's first patriots.

Eddie Johnson has accused the town of Plymouth of discrimination for not welcoming the project.

Mass. Commission Against Discrimination Chairman Julian Tynes however ruled against Johnson and the Parting Ways Group.  Johnson filed an appeal, and it was heard in early December by Tynes, but no decision has been rendered.

Johnson says he's waited long enough, and this week filed a complaint with the Governor's office.....

Johnson feels there's something wrong about Tynes hearing the initial case, and then handling the appeal.

Tynes will be back in New Bedford on Sunday.  He's the keynote speaker at the Martin Luther King program at the Grace Episcopal Church.
