New Bedford Man Arrested for OUI After Causing Crash
NEW BEDFORD — A 25-year-old man was arrested by New Bedford Police Sunday night after causing a motor vehicle accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.
New Bedford Police say that at about 10:55 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at 357 Nash Road. A further investigation indicated the operator of one of the vehicles involved, 25-year-old Cade Maciel, of 212 Nash Road, had been operating under the influence of alcohol.
Maciel was placed under arrest and charged with OUI liquor and negligient operation of a motor vehicle.
There were no injuries reported.
