Its never too early to start thinking about your college education.

Tuesday night at Keith Middle School, members of the New Bedford High School Young Alumni Association will hold a panel discussion, offering advice on what high school students should be thinking about when it comes to their future.  Members of the Class of 2016 and other grade levels are invited to attend.

Brown University student Melissa Isidor is co-chairing the Young Alumni Association. She tells WBSM News, the Association wants to help students get an early start on the process.

"People start looking at the process too late and really cutting themselves short with all the opportunities they have available to them," said Isidor. She added, "that's one of the reasons why we're hosting this panel now, and not during the fall because we believe that the fall is too late for a lot of the information we can provide to them."

The panel will offer advice on the application and decision process, financial aid and other opportunities in the workforce and armed services.  The panel discussion gets underway at 7pm Tuesday at Keith Middle School.
