NARRAGANSETT (WBSM) — Two more people have been arrested in connection with a large fight that occurred last weekend at the docks of the Block Island Ferry in Narragansett.

Narragansett Police Chief Sean Corrigan said that James Ronald Cole, Jr., 54, of Westerly and Jordan Leighty, 41, of Richmond turned themselves into police on Monday, June 17.

The two men were then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. They were arraigned Monday in District Court Fourth Division.

The charges relate to a large fight that broke out on the ferry dock on Saturday, June 16 a little after 8 p.m., with a reported 20 to 30 individuals involved in the fight.

Seven people, including a juvenile, were arrested at the scene, not only for the fight but also for charges related to interfering with police and their investigation into the fight. They were also arraigned Monday.

Those arrests were:

Maneul Pina, 42, of Brockton on charges of felony assault, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, and disorderly conduct.

Gilda Antunes, 28, of Brockton on a charge of obstructing an officer in execution of duty.

Elsa Lopes, 31, of Brockton on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, and disorderly conduct.

Henry Lopes, Jr., 32, of Providence on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Victor Manuel Gomes Depina, 39, of Brockton on charges of obstructing an officer in execution of duty and disorderly conduct.

Michael Gomes Lopes, 36, of Brockton on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

A 16-year-old juvenile on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Two people were transported to local hospitals Saturday via ambulance for injuries sustained in the fight.
