Multiple Southcoast High Schools Rank Top 20 In Region

A list of the best public high schools in the Providence Metro has been created...and multiple schools on the Southcoast have been honored.

Fairhaven High School and Somerset Berkley Regional High School placed in the top 10!  Fairhaven High School's principal, Tara Kohler, said she was proud that FHS ranked so high...and credited the hard work of students and teachers.  "They reported over 23,800 public high schools nation wide, and according to this site, we rank in the top 10% in the nation,' said Kohler.

Niche released the "2016 Best Public High Schools in Providence Metro" based on statistics, student and parent reviews, and expert insights. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews, and more.
