Wednesday, April 15th is Jackie Robinson Day in Major League Baseball. It's a day when all players, coaches and managers will wear Robinson's number-42 to honor the man who broke baseball's color barrier.

It was April 15th, 1947 when Robinson became the Major Leagues' first black player when he started at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers. As part of Wednesday's celebration, the Los Angeles Dodgers will host the Seattle Mariners in the annual Civil Rights Game.

All 30 Major League clubs are in action tomorrow including the Cleveland Indians hosting the Chicago White Sox. The Indians' Larry Doby became the American League's first black player when he suited up for the Tribe in July of 1947.  (Metro Networks Inc)
