As the deadline approaches to sign up for healthcare, one-third of Americans plan to remain uninsured.  That's according to a recent study by Bankrate.com, which showed most of those who plan to go without health insurance will do because they think it's too expensive.

The report also shows a staggering 70-percent of the uninsured aren't aware of the available subsidies that can lower their health insurance costs.

It appears the White House isn't doing a great job of getting the message out as over half of uninsured Americans are not aware the deadline to sign up for health insurance is March 31st.

When it comes to the younger folks, about two-thirds of uninsured 18-to-29-year-olds say they will sign up for health insurance.  (Metro Newtorks Inc.)
