Middleboro Police Investigate Fiery Head-On Crash Leaving 1 Dead
MIDDLEBORO (WBSM) — A fatal head-on collision involving an SUV and a delivery truck in Middleboro is under investigation.
On Friday, February 9, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Middleboro Police and Fire responded to Route 28 near Cushman and Rocky Gutter streets for a report of a head-on crash.
First responders observed that a UPS delivery truck and an SUV caught fire after a collision.
The delivery truck driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the SUV was also transported to a hospital, where they died from their injuries.
Police have not released the name of the driver.
The drivers were the sole occupants in their vehicles.
