ACUSHNET (WBSM) — The identity of the man killed in a motorcycle crash in Acushnet on Saturday evening has been released.

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III has identified the victim as Michah Nason, 27, of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Crash Reported Late Saturday Night

At about 10:10 p.m. on October 25, Acushnet Police and EMS received multiple reports of a crash in front of 444 Main Street in Acushnet. First responders arrived to find a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle with “catastrophic damage,” according to the D.A.’s Office, leaning against the residence at 444 Main Street.

The D.A.’s Office said Nason was located “a distance” from the motorcycle and was suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased on Sunday morning.

No Other Vehicles Believed Involved

The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the D.A.’s Office along with Acushnet Police, but the initial investigation indicated there was no other vehicle involved in the crash.
