Lower Gas Rates Through Eversource

Eversource Energy customers can expect to see their gas bills decrease during the warmer months.

Eversource announced natural gas customers are now paying the lowest price for natural gas in three years at a rate of 30.57cents per therm. Eversource spokesman Mike Durand says that translates into real savings during the summer months, "For the average heating customer, roughly a 19% decrease from what the rates were a year ago. And that translates to just over $7."

Durand says electricity customers can also anticipate similar savings as Eversource prepares to file for lower supply rates within the coming weeks.
