Local Woman To Compete On NBC’s “The Voice”

A Rhode Island woman will appear on this season of NBC's "The Voice".  Emily Luther, a 2010 graduate of Woonsocket High School, will get a shot to get picked by Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson or Blake Shelton, according to NBC 10.

The 13th season of The Voice premiered last night without a sighting of Luther.  There is no word on when her fans can expect to see her.  She first gained fame after singing a cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" with Charlie Puth (who was relatively unknown at the time).  We played a bit of this on the Rock and Fox Show this morning, and were blown away with her voice.  Christine thought she might even sing this song better than Adele!
