LAKEVILLE — Lakeville Police are on the lookout for a bank robber who hit the town's Eastern Bank on Monday afternoon.

Police said that officers responded to the Eastern Bank at 45 Main St. just after 3 p.m. yesterday for a reported robbery.

The suspect handed a note to a teller demanding money, although according to police, he showed no weapon.

He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and left in a getaway vehicle that police believe left from the parking lot of a closed bowling alley at 51 Main St.

 

Police describe the suspect as being around 6 feet tall, dark-skinned, and wearing a medical-style mask, blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Lakeville Police and the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force are actively investigating the robbery.
