LAKEVILLE — Police seek to identify potential suspects in a motor vehicle break-in in Lakeville who allegedly tried to use the stolen identity of the person whose wallet was taken.

Lakeville Police say they were notified recently of a past break-in of a motor vehicle parked at the LeBaron Hills Country Club. According to police, a wallet was taken from the unlocked vehicle containing credit cards and a driver’s license.

Police say that some time later, a female suspect attempted to cash checks using the stolen identification and debit card. They report the suspect was driving a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with possible Texas plates, and had a male passenger in the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lakeville Police at (508) 946-8815.
