A judge has amended bail conditions for New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez's cousin so she may undergo cancer treatments while at home in Connecticut.

The Bristol County district attorney's office says a judge ruled Wednesday that Tanya Singleton may return to Bristol, Conn. She had been required to stay in Massachusetts.
A spokesman says that under the new conditions, Singleton must stay at home except for medical appointments or probation office check-ins. She has been undergoing treatments for breast cancer. He says she was hospitalized twice in recent weeks.

Prosecutors did not oppose her request.

Singleton has pleaded not guilty to criminal contempt and conspiracy charges. She posted bail in January.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in the killing of Odin Lloyd, a Boston semi-professional football player.  (Associated Press)
