Repeat Offender Sentenced to State Prison for Masked Knife-Point Robbery at Fall River Bus Terminal
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — A Fall River man has been sentenced to up to a decade in prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery.
According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III, Edwin Reyes, 48, pleaded guilty on October 8 in Fall River Superior Court to armed and masked robbery. He was sentenced to serve eight to 10 years in state prison.
The D.A.’s Office said Reyes has prior convictions for armed and masked robbery and has previously served state prison time.

Masked Robbery at the SRTA Bus Terminal
The charges date back to April 17, 2025, when Fall River Police were dispatched at about 5 a.m. to the SRTA bus station for a reported robbery.
Police arrived to find the male victim, who had been at the bus station waiting for a bus when a masked man with a knife came up to him and demanded money. The suspect jabbed the victim with a knife, and the victim gave the suspect $20. The suspect then fled the scene on a bicycle.
Video Surveillance Leads Police to Suspect
Because the suspect was masked, the victim was unable to identify him from a photo array. However, police found surveillance video that captured the robbery and clearly depicted the suspect. Police later located the suspect wearing the same clothing and riding a child’s bicycle. Once taken into custody, he was identified as Reyes and found to have two pocketknives and $50 in cash on him.
Habitual Offender Returned to State Prison
“This is a habitual criminal who continues to commit violent crimes,” Quinn said. “He needs to be kept off the street.”
