Jerry Remy’s in Fall River Is a Great Place To Grab a Bite — Neal’s Review

Amazing, those were the words that came out of my mouth when I walked through the doors at Jerry Remy's Restaurant in Fall River. 

The restaurant is done very tastefully with beautiful wood work throughout, another thing that stands out is all of the amazing televisions around the entire building including the Screen Monsters, three screens that take up an entire wall!  The building certainly is beautiful and very spacious.

I went To Jerry Remy's in Fall River to meet a co-worker for lunch, someone suggested I try the chicken "Under a Brick" it sounded interesting to me so I ordered it.  For an appetizer we went with the "Crispy Sweet Chili Calamari" with Asian slaw with soy ginger dressing and sweet garlic chili sauce.

I have never had Calamari prepared this way, let me tell you it was delicious! I would highly recommend it!  They my chicken dish came, the chicken was cooked to perfection!  Let me back up for a minute, the chicken "Under a Brick" meal consists of chicken marinated in fresh thyme and rosemary, lemon juice and olive oil, pan seared under a brick and finished with a cranberry shallot reduction. Served with wild mushroom risotto and green beans.

The blending of flavors was amazing, the risotto was very tasty and was loaded with mushrooms, the beans crunchy and flavorful, the chicken was delicious, very tender and juicy!  I didn't have time to try dessert but I will next time I visit, there is a great menu with plenty of delicious looking choices.
