The Barnstable Performing Arts Center is hosting a special showing of Jaws tonight, Friday, August 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Kicking off Beach Road Weekend on Friday, you can relive the thrilling suspense of JAWS as the Cape Symphony plays along. Conducted by Jung-Ho Pak, the Cape Symphony will play the iconic Academy Award®-winning score by composer John Williams in sync with the film projected on a big screen. It’s an amazing opportunity to experience the power of a live symphony orchestra performing the soundtrack with one of the greatest motion pictures of all time on the island where the movie was filmed.

The Barnstable Performing Arts Center is located at 744 West Main St. in Hyannis. Please click HERE for tickets.

Jaws is a classic. A definite must-see during the summer, especially in this area where one of our claims to fame is being the filming location for the movie. I cannot imagine how cool it would be to watch the movie while experiencing a live orchestra performing the suspenseful music that truly brought Jaws to life.
