Is ‘Plant Nite’ the New ‘Paint Nite?’

Plant Nite Providence and Plant Nite Boston are taking over my Facebook newsfeed. The beautifully decorated bowls and wooden planters are filled with multi-colored sand, shells, and flora. They're also accompanied by a glass of red or white wine and smiling faces. I've seen both men and women participate in the activity. If you're like me and don't have a green thumb (at all), maybe this is a small way to introduce yourself to the hobby of gardening.
