Aaron Hernandez is back in court for a final court hearing before the former New England Patriots star's murder case heads to trial.

Monday's pre-trial hearing in Bristol County Superior Court is expected to focus on jury issues.

Hernandez is in court along with his defense team, state prosecutors and relatives of Odin Lloyd, the man prosecutors say Hernandez fatally shot in June 2013.

Hernandez's fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, appeared earlier in court for a hearing. She has pleaded not guilty to lying before the grand jury that ultimately indicted Hernandez.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the killing of Lloyd, a semi-professional football player who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. Jury selection is scheduled to start Jan. 9.

Hernandez has also pleaded not guilty to the fatal shootings of two men in 2012 after an encounter at a Boston nightclub.
