Hawaii is once again the healthiest state in the nation. That's according to the latest "America's Health Rankings" annual report from United Health Foundation.

It's the fourth year in a row that the Aloha State tops the report. Hawaii scored well for having low rates of obesity, preventable hospitalizations, and fewer days of poor mental health days.

Louisiana is at the bottom of the report, knocking Mississippi from 50th place to 49th. Arkansas, West Virginia and Alabama round out the bottom five.

As a whole, the report found that more people are getting their vaccines. Smoking among adults fell from 19-percent in 2014 to just above 18-percent. Cardiovascular deaths were found to have decreased by 23-percent over the past ten years.

The report finds that the U.S. is still challenged by high rates of obesity, a growing diabetes problem, and a spike in drug deaths. (Metro Networks Inc.
