Boston Red Sox first baseman Hanley Ramirez was named the American League Player of the Week, Monday. 

Ramirez feasted on opposing pitching, this past week, hitting a cool .333 (7-for-21). The slugging first baseman also belted five home runs and drove in 12 runs over the 7-day stretch.

Add in four walks and the 32-year-old did a little bit of everything to help Boston go 4-2 against the San Francisco Giants and Minnesota Twins.

On the year, Ramirez has compiled a .282/.362/.459 slash line with 13 homers and 60 RBI.
