Girl Scouts Announce First-Ever Allergy-Friendly Cookie and Dog Treat for 2027 Season

Before you know it, Girl Scout Cookie season will be upon us, and the gals will be hawking a couple of special new treats this time out: one for humans with allergies and one for dogs.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts says cookie selling season in Massachusetts typically runs from early January through mid-March, with digital ordering starting as early as December.

Meet the New 2027 Cookie Additions: Patch Pals and Sparkables

Look for two new treats when the cookies come out of the oven. Girl Scouts of the USA will debut Patch Pals, its first dog cookie, and Girl Scout Sparkables, its first allergy-friendly cookie, ahead of the 2027 cookie season.

According to the Girl Scouts website, "The new cookies, developed with BARK and Partake, will be available exclusively online for shipping only during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season, expanding how families, friends, and four-legged companions can take part in the fun of the Girl Scout Cookie Program."

Patch Pals is the first-ever Girl Scout Cookie developed for dogs, and Girl Scout Sparkables is the first allergy-friendly cookie.
