FBI Still Searching for “Bearded Bandit”
"The Bearded Bandit" is back.
The FBI says the Southcoast bank robber dubbed "The Bearded Bandit" has robbed six banks this year, including five Rhode Island banks and one in Seekonk, Mass.
The FBI says the robberies started in late February, usually with one occurring every thirty days between the hours of 2 and 3:30pm. The most recent robbery took place on August 25th in North Pawtucket.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged white male, approximately 5' 10" tall with a dark beard. He is usually seen talking on his cell phone as he enters a bank, often wearing hoodies and baseball caps.
