Missing Falmouth Man’s Remains Found in Woods Near Goodwill Park
FALMOUTH (WBSM) — The remains of a Falmouth man missing since mid-June were discovered in the woods near a park on Monday.
Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois confirmed today that remains discovered late Monday morning at Goodwill Park in Falmouth are those of Adam Wacholder. He was 44 years old.
Wacholder, who was first reported missing on June 16, was last seen on June 13 after leaving lunch at the 99 Restaurant in Falmouth. He was also known to be afflicted with mental health issues and epilepsy, and was on medication.
On Monday, as part of their ongoing investigation into Wacholder’s whereabouts, Falmouth Police searched the area of Goodwill Park and the surrounding woods.
“There is no information indicating that Mr. Wacholder is in these wooded areas, today’s search is an effort to be thorough due to the facts that the areas being searched are in close proximity to his residence and to the last known location he was witnessed at,” police posted to Facebook at the time.
At about 11:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Police informed the D.A.’s Office that Wacholder’s remains had been discovered in the woods of Goodwill Park.
