Fairhaven Cat Left Alone Wants a Place to Call Home [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Wednesdays are all about the animals at Fun 107.
There are so many healthy and beautiful animals that are up for adoption on the SouthCoast, and I want to get as many adopted as possible. With the help of shelters in the area, I give the spotlight to one deserving animal for Wet Nose Wednesday. This week, the spotlight is on Ocean.
Ocean is a black and white cat that is around four years old. Terry Cripps and the team at Fairhaven Animal Shelter found Ocean at the docks near the Fairhaven shipyard.
“She was very scared when we got her,” Cripps said. Ocean was not alone either. The shelter retrieved Ocean and her three hungry kittens. The kittens are currently in foster care until they are old enough to be spayed and neutered, but mama is ready to call somewhere home.

While Ocean showed up to the shelter afraid, she is slowly learning to trust the members of the shelter. She had grown anxious living on the streets with her kittens, so Ocean would do best in a quiet home with someone who is willing to take their time with her.
Ocean has been at the shelter for several weeks with no one giving her the time of day, but behind her anxiousness is a scaredy cat looking to be loved and cared for.
She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, and ready for a loving home.

Every animal deserves a forever family.
