Fairhaven Police Seek Missing Teen

UPDATE: Fairhaven Police Lt. Kevin Kobza tells WBSM that the girl has been located.

FAIRHAVEN — Police are on the lookout for a Fairhaven 14-year-old who has been reported missing.

According to the Fairhaven Police Department, the teen girl identified only as Anahiz was last seen at around 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the KFC on County Street in New Bedford.

She was in the company of an unknown male.

Police described her as being around 5 feet 2 inches tall and 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She also has a distinctive birth mark above her left eyebrow.

Surveillance footage from the KFC shows Anahiz last wearing a yellow L.A. Lakers sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts, or the identity of the male with her, should contact Fairhaven Police at (508) 997-7421.
