Members of Fairhaven's Bicentennial Commission and its Sustainability Committee are now studying ways to improve the town.  About 35 people met Sunday at the Town Hall to begin discussions on ways to better the quality of life in Fairhaven.   Bicentennial Commission Chair Wayne Oliveira says the group is looking to recapture some of the energy generated by the town's 200th Birthday celebration.  Oliveira tells WBSM News, one of the areas discussed was community events.

Oliveira says the forum is an effort to work postively with government leaders to enhance what the town has to offer.  Other committees were formed in areas like transporation, beautification, and government access.
