State Police detectives and the Bristol County District Attorney's Office are investigating a homicide in Attleboro.

Police responded to a house on Leroy Street Friday afternoon,, and found two people suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Twenty-eight-year-old Kimberly Duphily of Attleboro was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 20-year-old woman also injured during the incident was treated for minor injuries last night at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and has since been released.
A spokesman for the District Attorney says no arrests have been made, but the investigation is extremely active and fluid right now, and no further information is being released.
