Expert: Baker Administration Offers Unique Opportunity For Southcoast Leaders

The head of the Public Policy Center at UMass Dartmouth says the beginning weeks of the pro-business Baker administration could result in a unique opportunity for leaders on the Southcoast.

Dr. Michael Goodman is a leading expert on the Mass. economy. He believes the new Governor will soon be piecing together an economic development plan for the Commonwealth, and local leaders must be ready to make their pitch.....

Dr. Goodman has headed the Public Policy Center since July.

The Center's mission is to improve public understanding of critical policy issues, and connect resources of the university, with the communities it serves.
