Early Morning Crashes In New Bedford

There are two accidents being reported Thursday morning in New Bedford.

A police dispatcher tells WBSM News crews are still on scene at an accident on Ashley Blvd involving a truck that crash into tree.

Neck and facial injuries are being reported.

However, police say traffic should still be able to get through the area.

This follows a previous crash that took place on Rockdale Ave. around 2:30 a.m. involving a vehicle that struck a pole.

Police say the driver declined medical attention.

While no accidents are being reported on any Southcoast area highways, a Massachusetts State Police dispatcher says delays should be expected due to wet road conditions.
