Dartmouth voters head to the polls Tuesday, deciding several races and an important ballot question.

Former Selectman John Goerge, Jr.'s vacated seat is up for grabs, with Planning Board Chairman Joel Avila and Finance Committee Member John Haran vying for the seat.

There's also a three-way race for two School Committee positions, with incumbents John Nunes and Christopher Oliver being challenged by Kyle Ross.

Voters will also be asked to approve a vote taken by Town Meeting to bond for $8.4 million for the rehabilitation of the Town's police station on Russells Mills Road. Town Meeting members approved the Proposition 2 1/2 override to strip down the building and replace plumbing and HVAC systems due to an outbreak of Legionnaire's Disease that closed the station in 2014.

The polls in Dartmouth are open from 7am to 8pm.
