DARTMOUTH — A two-car crash in Dartmouth yesterday evening sent two people to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Dartmouth Police said that at around 7:15 p.m. Monday, police and emergency personnel responded to the crash in the area of 850 Faunce Corner Road, between Old Fall River and Flag Swamp Roads.

At the scene, officers found that an 18-year-old East Freetown woman driving a Toyota Corolla had collided with a 37-year-old Dartmouth man in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Police said the woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the man was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with less serious injuries.

Part of Faunce Corner Road was shut down for a short time during the investigation.

Police said the crash is still being investigated, and no charges have yet been filed.
