Dartmouth Man Struck By Car Early Sunday Morning

DARTMOUTH - Police responded to emergency calls of a pedestrian that was struck by a car on Chase Road in Dartmouth early Sunday morning.

According to a press release from the Dartmouth Police Department, an investigation of the apparent accident found that a 22-year-old Dartmouth woman was operating a 2008 Honda Accord on Chase Road when she hit an 18-year-old Hyde Park man at approximately 5:20 a.m.

The 18-year old victim was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the incident. They say names are being released pending notification of the crash to family members.
