Dartmouth Man Arrested On Indecent Assault Charge

A South Dartmouth man is arraigned on multiple charges after being arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor. 

Detective Kyle Costa says 40-year-old Sumkit Grace of Milton Street was arrested Thursday on charges of indecent assault and battery and delivering liquor to a person under 21. The charges were filed after the 15 year old victim's parents notified police.  

Grace was arraigned Friday in New Bedford District Court. Police, along with the Bristol County Children's Advocacy Center and the State Department of Children and Families are still investigating the incident.
