In honor of Mother's Day, the Dartmouth Mall has partnered with United Way of Greater New Bedford to support local families that are experiencing a diaper need with a Diaper Drive. Every baby should be clean, dry, healthy, and happy.

Diaper donations can be dropped off for the Baby Bundles project at Yankee Candle, and Old Navy now through Sunday, May 16. The Mall will only be accepting unopened diapers of all sizes and brands for babies and toddlers.

The first 50 people to donate will receive a free gift card to Yankee Candle or Old Navy valued at $5 courtesy of the Dartmouth Mall. Stop by one of the drop locations to drop off and collect your gift card.

"Diapers are a consistent need for the families we work with at United Way," said Victoria Grasela, Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement at United Way of Greater New Bedford. "By donating diapers to this drive, you are supporting moms with the basic essentials to keep their babies happy and healthy."

"This Mother’s Day, we are pleased to help shine a spotlight on this critical need for families in our communities,” said Beth Zager, Marketing Director at Dartmouth Mall. "The past year has been challenging for many, but the pandemic has disproportionately impacted underprivileged young families. We are proud to partner with leading area nonprofits to expand their supply of these family essentials."

The Dartmouth Mall and United Way of Greater New Bedford thanks everyone who donates for the support. For information on how to receive diapers for your family, please contact United Way of Greater New Bedford at 508-994-9625.
