Dartmouth Fatal Crash Leaves One Dead, Two Seriously Injured
DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — A man was killed and two elderly people seriously injured in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Dartmouth.
According to Dartmouth Police, officers and other emergency personnel responded to a report of a head-on collision at 3:50 p.m. today in the area of 242 Chase Road.
The crash involved a 2006 Cadillac Seville and a 2015 GMC Acadia.
The male operator of the Cadillac was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is being withheld pending positive notification by his family, police said.
The 82-year-old man driving the GMC, as well as his 75-year-old female passenger, were also taken to St. Luke’s. Police said they are currently being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Dartmouth Police and the Massachusetts State Police.
